A note from the Seller: Among my fondest memories of living on "Flanagan's Bluff", feeling the ever present gentle TradeWinds while looking at the full, golden moon rise over the BVI, reflecting across the Bay and Johnson's reef, while listening to the surf on the beach across the road, and often, to a live band playing down at Shipwreck Landing, adding to the mood. We spent several very strong Hurricanes on the property in our octagon house with no damage except for the trees losing their leaves from the force of the wind. We covered the wrap around deck railings with bowls of various kinds of fruit juice from the Maho store to feed the hungry birds, covering our bare trees and railings with their colorful feathered bodies. Lots of folks left the Island during recovery, so I am thankful we could save so many birds by putting out bowls of juice until the trees could grow new flowers and leaves. We could watch our sailboat anchored safe and secure behind Johnson's reef, close enough to swim to and sail the short distance to Hurricane Hole, if need be, the very best place for a sailboat during a storm.
